It is a division of the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television (SARFT) of the People's Republic of China. The China Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir along side with Itzhak Perlman (Violin), KODO (Drums), Liu Li (Gu Qin), Tan Dun (Violin), and You Yan (Soprano) performed the score for Hero (2002) the movie's original soundtrack.
