Galina Ivanovna Ustvolskaya, also Ustwolskaja or Oustvolskaia (Russian: ?????? ???????? ???????????, born June 17, 1919, Petrograd, now St Petersburg, died December 22, 2006, St Petersburg) is a Russian composer of classical music. From 1937 to 1939 she studied at the college attached to the Leningrad Conservatory and then, until 1947, at the Rimsky Korsakov Conservatory.
