By the end of the forties their name had changed to the Swallows and the line-up had settled down to Eddie Rich (lead), Earl Hurley (tenor), Herman 'Junior' Denby (tenor/baritone), Frederick Johnson (baritone) and Norris 'Bunky' Mack (bass).
