Known by the nickname El Gallo de Oro (The Golden Rooster), his biggest Banda hits included "Vete Ya," "Ebrio de Amor", " Vete Con El", "Vuelve Cari?ito", "Como Me Duele", "Vencedor", " Mi Virgencita", and "Soy As?."
