The 'e' was dropped from their name in lieu of drummer Robert Gotobed's departure. They recorded an album in 1991 entitled The First Letter. 2. Wir was a german rock and pop band that was formed in 1970 by Wolfgang Ziegler and Jens Gerlach. 3. WIR is a german electronic / rap-project by Audio88, Ben and Kid Kabul from Berlin.
